Our friend Josh stayed with us on Monday while his mom Aylin went to a doctor's appointment. Another friend Anissa picked Josh up from our house and mentioned that she was going to take him and her two daughters to a cool playground out at Dyess. I had heard about the neat playground at TLF (Temporary Living Facility) from other friends and when the boys said they wanted to go Anissa offered to let us tag along. As Anissa was loading Josh's car seat into her van all five of the kids came inside to play for a few minutes. When Anissa walked through the door of my home this is what she saw - which only confirmed that the kids were full of energy and could use an afternoon at the park. If you'll remember from last year I don't take my tree down til the end of January and it's a good thing because if it had already been put away I would have missed this excitement.
Here's the TLF Playground which was really cool. It is a nice big playground with separate areas for bigger kids and toddlers and swings off to one side.
Nathan surprised me by really liking the big tall twisty slide even more than Benjamin did.
They had fun pretending this area Benjamin was in was a jail and they had to help each other escape.
The kids also played a couple of games of hide and go seek.
This big fish was a fun ladder to climb up.
Here goes Nathan...

Jordan and Benjamin were enjoying Anissa pushing them in the swings.
