Puzzles R Fun

David and I have always enjoyed doing puzzles together. That was one of our favorite activities when we were dating and engaged. We even framed a couple of our favorite puzzles from that time period and they hang in our living room today.

It's so fun to see our boys loving the challenge of a good puzzle now as well. It's so cool to see how their little minds work - and kind of scary how much like us they are in their thought processes.

After lunch Sunday Benjamin wanted to do a puzzle while still siting in his booster seat at the table. Then Nathan wanted one too. Dad assisted a little but for the most part they put together the puzzles all be themselves.
I even got a little video footage of all the fun.

The boys also enjoy these neat puzzles they got for Christmas from my parents. For each of the two puzzles there is a 24 piece puzzle to put together then that serves as a backdrop for the boys to put the colorform sticker-like pieces on and move around as they please.
Nathan is enjoying the puzzle based on the Eric Carle book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar,"
and Benjamin has the one from the book titled "Five Little Monkeys Sitting In A Tree."
I didn't get a picture of it yet but the boys have also discovered that the colorform pieces cling to our back sliding glass door as well. It's pretty fun.
