We had a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon at home. Dad read the boys some new (to us) books we had picked up at garage sales the day before.
Later that evening we went out to my grandmom's house at a retirement village here in town. The boys always head for their toy box (a small Rubbermaid tub) first thing and start unloading it. My grandmother gets such a kick out of watching them play. They are pretty cute if I do say so myself.
They also have some videos that they like to watch at her house.
Nathan looked so funny, almost like a marionette or something, with his legs swinging off the edge of my grandmom's gliding ottoman. And after he got up the wiggling continued. Too cute!
David helped the boys put together a pizza puzzle that my mom had brought from her house for the boys to do.

My mom also brought this vintage toy of mine for the boys to play with. When I was little this is what cameras looked like. The yellow block on the top turns around with each click just like those old flash bulbs. (If this was all before your time just bear with me.) The camera has two places for you to look through. Through one window you can see pictures of zoo animals and through the other one you can see all the way through like you were going to take a (pretend) picture. Though this looks like nothing the boys would recognize as a camera they thought it was a pretty cool toy anyway.
I did get one wonderful group shot from the day. Here I am with my sons, my dad, and my dad's mom. I am so blessed, as are my boys, to have the privilege of spending time with these previous generations.
