Here they are starting out with their blank white papers. Nathan is 'helping' Benjamin with his a little. We encouraged him to work on his own page too.
I love to watch them experiment and create with the paints. 
Benjamin's paper kept trying to slide around so I helped him hold it in place when he needed me to.
Nathan is growing so big and changing and looking older all the time so I really like how this angle shows off his soft features - there's still a little baby fat left on those cheeks.
Benjamin looks so serious about his art work...
as does Nathan. 
They both did a really great job. Nathan's finished product had much more defined lines while Benjamin's had a lot more paint and a lot more blending of colors. I really love them both -both paintings and both boys. 
This is David getting all fancy with the camera work. In this case the picture of the art is a little bit of an art study in and of itself. After they finished painting on their white papers David suggested letting their paint on coloring pages. It was a great idea that both boys really liked well.
Benjamin painted his whole paper green but he did it very meticulously by doing every little piece one at a time.
Notice how Nathan holds the paintbrush - like a kid, understandably so.
Now look at his brother doing the artist grip - that's just how he naturally picks up the brush and does it. Pretty cool if you ask me.
