The World's Most Adorable Vegetables

David and I are big VeggieTales fans. We have been ever since we moved to Abilene and started watching them with some friends from our young married couples Sunday School class back in '97. We own all 27 VT shows. (I have my definite favorites but that will have to be a whole other post.)

I knew last year that I wanted the boys to be Bob and Larry but couldn't find costumes that would fit them and so we went as superheroes. This year ebay came through for me and I did the 'buy it now' thing just to make sure that this would be the year of the vegetables! (We may rerun it next year - it is just soooooo cute!)

We visited this pumpkin patch sponsored by Disability Resources yesterday morning and had a great time taking advantage of all their neat photo opps.

The boys thought this big dog/scarecrow was pretty neat. This is a good shot of Benjamin's whole Bob costume.
There were several DRI volunteers who went around helping people and one of them was giving the kids pumpkin stickers. The boys always like to get stickers.

Nathan and Benjamin (or should I say Larry and Bob) had a great time just wandering around the pumpkin patch. It was perfect fall weather. I love this time of year!
