Christmas In The Metroplex - Part 2

Here's Benjamin just inside the front door of my cousin Joel's house. (Joel's mom and my dad are first cousins.)
Benjamin enjoyed playing in the boys room upstairs. Joel and Lori have an eight year old boy/girl twins and a five year old boy. Their boys share a room and that was where Benjamin hung out most of the time.
They had lots of cool cars and trucks to play with.
He found a whole tub of them - yeah!
Here we are with all the other kids (actually one of the eight year olds, Brian was out of this picture) waiting for Matt (Joel's big brother) and Joel to pass out all the gifts.
Once everyone had their presents they let the unwrapping frenzy begin. With three eight year olds, a six year old, a five year old, a four year old, and a two year old there was quite a bit of commotion, (There was a five week old there as well but she slept through alot of the craziness). I hated that Nathan had to miss out on all the excitement.
Here's Benjamin opening his gifts.
He got Emily and two sea cargo trucks from the Thomas the Tank Engine Take Along trains set.
Once he had opened his gifts he was off again to explore the boys room upstairs.
I really appreciated Joel and Lori's oldest son Brian he did a great job looking out for Benjamin and helping him up and down the stairs. It was nice to not have to worry about him - he was in great hands.
