Boys In Their Beds

With this sort of title, you might expect some adorable peaceful sleeping sort of pics. Well, that is not the case. These pictures illustrate one Nathan and Benjamin's favorite new past times. They pile all the stuffed animals, covers, and pillows from their room and closet into one of their beds (cribs actually - yes even the three and a half year old is still in a crib) and then they climb in. The first video clip shows them doing this with Benjamin's bed. (I've still got them convinced that climbing out is a very bad idea. I told them that if they climbed out they would splat on the floor and it would hurt.) I think we should consider transitioning to toddler beds before too much longer though.

Then they play in the massive soft squishy pile of stuff (plus brother), this time in Nathan's bed.
When they grow weary of playing with the big pile of stuff they throw it out. This video shows them clearing out Benjamin's bed.
Sometimes they then want out of the bed immediately but other times, as these pictures show, they like to play in the empty bed together.
Sweet hug.
In the midst of all the chaos I was able to get wonderful smiling face pics of each boy. Gotta love those smiles. It's nice that their beds are not only the place they sleep peacefully all night long (ideally) but a great place to play during the day as well.

This cracks me up! David does the same thing with his pillows, blankets & animals on his bed! And his is a twin mattress on the floor!
