Spring Break - Part 4

After our zoo adventure on Saturday we went to Neslon park for a picnic lunch and to play on the playground. There were no picnic tables available so we improvised. It worked out fine.
The boys had fun swinging for a while. You can see me still picnicing on the ground in the background.

Benjamin loves to climb up to this slide (the tallest one on the playground)...
and slide on down. Nathan went up to the top of the slide but didn't want to go down it. Benjamin loves slides though and the bigger the better.
However, Nathan was adventurous enough to climb up on these bars. This is another one of those things that falls under the heading of "stuff mom probably wouldn't have let me do." Since he made it all the way up without slipping and knocking out any teeth I guess it's okay with me. It still makes me nervous though.

I love this peeking-around-the-bars pic David snapped once he made it to the top. He looks so proud of himself.
Here's a couple of cute peek-a-boo pics of Benjamin too.
After an action-packed morning and afternoon at the zoo and park the boys didn't take long at all to fall asleep on the way back to the house.
After the boys woke up from their nap we headed to Grammy and Granpop's house for dinner and more playtime. Here we have all the kiddos huddles around the computer...
which is always Nathan's favorite place to be.

Benjamin likes computer time okay - especially if he's next to his big brother - but his favorite thing to do is play outside. And he'll play in any weather. Nathan on the other hand needs ideal weather conditions (not too windy, not too cold) to enjoy outside time.

I can see Benjamin being one of those crazy guys who plays football in the freezing rain and thinks it's fun. And of course if he does, I'll be one of those crazy fans that sits out in the freezing rain to watch their team play and cheer them on.

Benjamin loves playing with Grammy and Grandpop's dog, Daisy. He feeds her acorns as long as she'll eat them.I don't know what they're looking at, but they sure are cute together.

Anybody want to play ball?
