Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Last year one of Grandpop's sisters, Aunt Alta, bought St. Patrick Day shirts for each of Grandpop's grandkids. The shirts however didn't come in toddler sizes so she bought Nathan a child's small and Benjamin a child's extra small. The shirts absolutely swallowed them but it was pretty cute anyway. They like matching their cousins, the big kids, so they all put on the shirts for this quick photo shoot at Grammy and Grandpop's house. As you can see Benjamin isn't too keen on the whole photo shoot idea.
Things sure change a lot in a year's time. The shirts were still a bit big on the boys this year but not so big that they couldn't wear them all day.
Here's a little footage of Nathan wishing you all a Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Sometimes it is difficult to coordinate him talking and the camera rolling so here's a couple of different takes.
Benjamin wishes you all a happy day as well he just takes a bit more coaching to get all the word out. He is doing really well with his words these days though.
If want a great way to teach your kids the story of Saint Patrick then check out the VeggieTales video "The Sumo Of The Opera." The video is about perseverance and they tell the story of Saint Patrick (who happens to be an excellent example of perseverance) before they get to the sumo story.
