A friend of the family gave the boys Walmart gift cards for Easter and so we went to the big new Walmart (which is always a treat) and they picked out this fun new puzzle and some pipe cleaners to purchase with their cards. The puzzle has 46 pieces and a picture on both sides. The boys had a blast putting together the fire truck and were so happy once they got it completed (with a little help from me).
Benjamin thought it was cool that the puzzle was almost as long as him.

Here they are with the back side of the puzzle. It's a neat picture of various rescue vehicles doing their thing and there are letters and numbers hidden in the picture which the boys love hunting for.
When we got out the Easter buckets this year Nathan kept taking the handle/strap off of his and playing with it. One day he walked up to me and showed me that he could make a "C," an "S," and an "L" with it. I thought he'd have fun shaping pipecleaners into letters as well and I was right. We've made dragonflies, people, letters, and spring with the pipecleaners. Nathan's favorite thing is to have me make the pipecleaner into a spring on my finger and then slip it on his. We filled all his fingers up one day and I just had to snap a pic of it.
